Nestled among acreage on the beautiful Lake Macquarie, La Bella Vita Photography was created by a dream to own a beautiful property that I could turn into a magical experience for all my clients. With lush greenery surrounds, long grass and gorgeous props, it offers a unique backdrop in a private setting. Each setup has been largely considered in its placement, and how it will appear in the whimsical, magical images I will create for you and your family. I’m Shannon and I am a mum, a wife, animal lover, photographer and a dreamer.

An experienced photographer of over 20 years (however, I have dabbled in film since I was a child), everything I do is done with a passion for creating beautiful imagery. Client experience is everything to me, and my goal is to have my clients walking away with not only the most magical photos, but a friend as well. I will go above and beyond for you, and not just at the shoot but in post-production as well! I specialise in family, newborn, maternity and equine photography and pets are always welcome at my sessions! My work has been featured in some pretty big publications (including a stint on Channel 7!) however, I feel most at home on my property. I love a laugh, pottering around my beautiful acreage and curating bespoke pieces to add to the eclectic beauty of the land. When I am not photographing, you will find me with my family, my rescue pups and animals, or experimenting in the world I have created because for me, photography is not just my job. I live and breathe it, and nothing makes me happier than having my creative cup filled.
